The ECRU New York Design Team performs back-stage at some of the most prestigious fashion shows, creating hair admired on the runways.

ECRU New York's ability to repair damaged hair while creating style for trends and fashion has made it a favorite choice among models and fashion designers.

GEN ART FRESH FACES SEPTEMBER 2008

On September 4th Gen Art sponsored the Fresh Faces Fashion Show, and the looks on the runway were just beautiful! The key to these looks is that the hair is both simple and classic but took into account each model's own hair texture. A curling iron was used to wrap sections of hair around the barrel. A strong center part made the look a bit softer and more bohemian. The hair was smoothed with ECRU Silk Texturizing Balm.

The bun was a simple, elegant look. Hair was pulled back into a ponytail and then wrapped around to create a bun with messy, loose strands. The buns were wound fairly tightly, pinned mid to low on the back of the head without a part creating a more unstructured look.

The tents of Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week just dropped, but we were able to pull together some of our favorite looks from the first few days of the shows.

The hair was better than ever! For Spring/Summer '09, fashion designers are creating beautiful clothing with a lot of interest in the front, leaving hair stylists a great opportunity to focus on the backs of the heads.
